To be a man,
is not
to bully and push people around,
It's not
about testosterone fueled violence or black eyes at night on the town ,
It's not
to drink beer or silenceing your shame , money , reputation or having a trade .
It's not
about counting the birds that have perched on your pole.
It's not
About football , rugby or golf .
It's about protecting and caring for the ones that you love ,
Sacrificing your wants
Supporting your family
No matter what
It's about loyalty
Whether your single or committed to a queen
It's about doing what it takes to make her happy
That should be enough
Enough for a man
Making someone else's life better
To take on the stress and pain
To give it your all and then give some more
Men are happy just being and being the support ,the knowing we held the light in the right place for the ones we care about to see what they are doing,
Women and children first off the boat
A man wants to stay behind knowing your safe keeps spirits afloat .

Being a man is about giving and respect ,
A man knows to walk away from rejection
To find an answer when the questions are tough
To face the challenges  and a want for love.

Just don't be a dick .
