Door opens, days end.
Eyes open, faithless friend.
I look to see, to feel, to be.
Stop knowing, in the eyes of a angry man.
World holding, grey's scent,
Pains spoken, minds spent,
All in a days work.
So controlling, hand in splint,
Heart slowing, how i've been,
I hold to hear, to feel, to have near.
Stop knowing, in the eyes of a broken man.
Still choking, blows glint,
Not golden,what i lent,
All in a years work.
Sky darkens, hours mend,
Same feelings, sort of bent,
I love to know, to feel, to hurt.
Stop knowing, in the eyes of a stranded man.
Search growing, never relent,
Disowning where I went,
All of my life's work.
Eyes open, faithless friend.
I look to see, to feel, to be.
Stop knowing, in the eyes of a angry man.
World holding, grey's scent,
Pains spoken, minds spent,
All in a days work.
So controlling, hand in splint,
Heart slowing, how i've been,
I hold to hear, to feel, to have near.
Stop knowing, in the eyes of a broken man.
Still choking, blows glint,
Not golden,what i lent,
All in a years work.
Sky darkens, hours mend,
Same feelings, sort of bent,
I love to know, to feel, to hurt.
Stop knowing, in the eyes of a stranded man.
Search growing, never relent,
Disowning where I went,
All of my life's work.
