If Death Ever Comes For Me
Come what may, Death ? i will never fear*
Dead before even born in the skin i wear
Insensible to what weather cold or heat, i bear
Have seen more sleet and fire, by words i swear !!
From the the tender age of my fingers i've seen
To live or to die, in this world, its only has-been
They conquered the world shielded with iron skin
Then left alone, as if they did never live or win
And so, i will take life as it comes with its flow
Tide with the motion and ocean whether fast or slow
Send a smile to whoever familiar either or not know
Then say to these passing world in words '' Adieu ''
I have lived here seen sweet and bitter and more
It's time i should leave to exist in another core
And behind my words will stand green like evergreen trees
To give shade and shelter to birds for another poet after me
