He is Gone
Every time I open my mouth to speak,
I scream your name,
I scream your name,
Every time I close my eyes
I can see your face
I can see your eyes and
I can taste your mouth.
All I can find,
Are the memories
You left behind,
And nothing else,
Except emptiness.
I don't think that you
Know what it's like
When everything stays the same
And all you can feel is pain,
And you have to believe
When it hurts to breath and
I fall asleep to the sound
Of that door slamming when
You were leaving.
And, somehow, this hole in my
Chest keeps beating.
And still loving you, is
My own personal Hell.
All I can see in the mirror is myself.
I feel so alone in this
House that was never a home.
I cry at the end of every movie see
All of them are replays of you and me.
I cry when it rains and I
Miss your light.
I watch for you out the window late at night,
Wondering where you are and who you're with.
What kind of a life is this?
When he is gone
Everything
Seems to go wrong.
I scream your name,
I scream your name,
Every time I close my eyes
I can see your face
I can see your eyes and
I can taste your mouth.
All I can find,
Are the memories
You left behind,
And nothing else,
Except emptiness.
I don't think that you
Know what it's like
When everything stays the same
And all you can feel is pain,
And you have to believe
