Darling, I’ll wait for you

Darling, I'll wait for you, through night and day,
As stars in the sky keep the darkness at bay.
In the whisper of winds, in the rustle of leaves,
In every soft sigh, my heart gently breathes.

I'll wait for you, love, as the moon waits the dawn,
As flowers await the first light of the morn.
With patience as steadfast as mountains so grand,
With hope in my soul like the sea on the sand.

Through seasons that change, through time's endless flow,
My love remains constant, a beacon aglow.
In dreams that we share, in whispers so true,
Darling, I'll wait for you.

With faith that is stronger than the passage of time,
With love that grows deeper in rhythm and rhyme.
In the calm of the night, in the warmth of the day,
I'll cherish each moment you’re far away.

For love knows no bounds, no end, and no start,
You're here in my thoughts, you live in my heart.
So take all the time that you need to be free,
Darling, I'll wait, come back home to me.
