Prissy

I primp.
I admit it.
I'm a girly girl
As soon as
I was old enough
I shaved my legs
Plucked my eyebrows
Stated wearing makeup
Took an overall interest
In my appearance

When I was
Of  working age
I was told that
A woman should
Never leave
The house without
Looking absolutely
G o r g e o u s

Some things stick
With a person
For a lifetime
This of course
Was definitely  one
Of them and
That was the onset
Of my becoming prissy
