The Wedding Guest Part Two
A ceremony
The telling of love
The testimony
Of two lovers
Who grew together
Through good and bad weather
The beautiful flowers carefully arranged
The many people who sat in rows
A gentle spring breeze flows
The preacher says “you may now kiss the bride “
The holy action itself made me think of high tide
The heaviness the words felt when said allowed
“I do”
Both showed signs of a blush
The gaze they held for one another
Truly and utterly in love
