Birthday Prose

I’m sorry I didn’t write you a verse for your birthday, because unlike pros today I chose to compose and expose my verbose prose which feels like it goes all the way up to the elbows. So, pardon my slippery delivery if it makes you feel a little quivery, but I’mma try to give you some lines that will make you crinkle your nose and maybe even curl your toes.
 
I didn’t get you a hallmark card ‘cause you know how hard it is for me to spit some barred rhymes in such a tight space, but you’ve seen my face and heard my grammar even though I stammer when I try to enunciate.  Theoretically I may not be the best but I think I aesthetically please you when I’m being pho-ne-ti-ca-lly correct, but then again you do tell me that I have a tendency to dra-ma-ti-ca-lly exaggerate.  
 
I guess what I’m trying to say is that every morning when I wake up next to you, I love to make you laugh with either a one word gaffe or a paragraph of lovey dovey quirks, because there is nothing better in the universe than to see you smirk or hear you giggle, because that little wiggle you give me sparks a light in this old warehouse full of fireworks.
 
I want to wish you a happy birthday and hope that you have more joyful years and times filled with rhymes and lines mine that make you smile, because honestly your face lights up my day, even when you get mad at me and scowl my way, you still sexy as fuck but I guess it’s my luck because although I’m not a smart man out of this entire world you’re my girl…which makes me love you even more on your special day.
