Soul flowers

Soul flowers never wilt
But oh so slow they grow
Can you hold them?
No
But don’t go so soon
Don’t go
In broken pots they’re planted
Pottery of earth and gold
Paltry and forgetful…
Oh!
But then boom, they bloom
Then glow
Soul flowers in the sunshine
Soul flowers in the rain
Each a little silly thinking that they own a name
So?
To whom is each one talking to?
Who can they really know?
