Crazy leaders
and their insane threats
the atmosphere still bleeds
lest we forget
are we doomed to repeat
what the dictators say
what's the point in greed
for the need to be dead .



I'll never forget them
those pictures of Dresden
a little boy
maybe four or five
lying amidst the rubble
no longer alive
with this image
I have struggled
from 1945
we keep killing each other
in order to survive
murdering our brothers
to then steal their wives
barbaric and primitive
from rock throwing
to ballistic hits
carpet bombing
and the London blitz
the sinking of the ship
Tirpitz
it took an atom bomb
to put an end to it
the cold war
went for  nearly fifty years.


From  the Cuban missile crisis
to the twin towers and ISIS
a proxy war with Ukraine fighters
a rotten  Kremlin core
propaganda guises.
