Breathe Her
Her eyes bring an ache to my chest,
She is painful and sharp without apology.
Our culmination is a bloody wound just above my collarbone,
A scarred over bite mark.
My skin is just as new as the day I was born,
She has rebuilt my body with carnage.
The stitches that bind my flesh are held together by a wire that sprouts from deep in her veins.
If she leaves,
she'll take my life with her.
