Seeing Blue
Writing without walking on eggshells
trying not to give the wrong impressions
not step on the feelings of sensitives
is easy when inside one's own domain
Blue...seeing blue again Is happiness
in its own way its coming home
to the land with blue vastness
that always breathe a whispered welcome
this is where the beauty of fantasyland
survive the loss of innocence
and simplicity in looking at the world
with kindness and tolerance
the seashore with the blue sand
and sunsets with hues of rainbows
where flamingoes and swans
perform in friendly shows
where I can sing with the siren
and not hear the ambulance scream
as they bring me to the sanatorium
peeling me from the colours of my dream
trying not to give the wrong impressions
not step on the feelings of sensitives
is easy when inside one's own domain
Blue...seeing blue again Is happiness
in its own way its coming home
to the land with blue vastness
that always breathe a whispered welcome
this is where the beauty of fantasyland
survive the loss of innocence
and simplicity in looking at the world
with kindness and tolerance
the seashore with the blue sand
and sunsets with hues of rainbows
where flamingoes and swans
perform in friendly shows
where I can sing with the siren
and not hear the ambulance scream
as they bring me to the sanatorium
peeling me from the colours of my dream

Hello Grace,
Even if this poem was brought on by the blues, you made these various waves of blue come to life in many images opening up like hidden tales of sea shells. Almost like an above below and under water world poem. Your pen ever twirling among the sea weeds and swirling fishes.
blessings, Rianne

Dear Rianne, thank you so much for dropping by and reading. You are so kind in your comments. I did quite like the poem too, as it showed the inner peace that I long for. :) thank you so much for being here.

Even the sand is blue? Wow, that sure is blue! I don't want 'them' scraping you off the walls either or peeling away the beautiful colours of your imagination! You were carrying onions recently. I wouldn't normally worry but they can also be peeled, lol! 😉

🤣Billy, words can show you a lot isn't it. All well in the blue front, no worries. Mood swings, you know. They sure inspire! Thanks for reading...I hope you're well.👍☕

Self reflective writes always offer such a beautiful and insightful look into the soul.
