Apollo!
Brilliant Luna shines tonight
Into our humble yard
with a heavenly golden light
I cannot disregard.
So lovely is that lunar gold
that I am by its force
compelled to think of thoughts untold
and of their utmost source!
And so my thoughts to craters go
and all their impact ways
of high albedo afterglow
seen from ejecta rays...
which tell us of the lunar past
and all the hits it took
from meteor and comet blast...
our naked eyes forsook!

The elegance in this composition is the fine use of cosmic diction albedo, Apollo...but better is the hidden sense that is poetically supposed to be portrayed..

The night sky is something very poetic, especially when the full moon
is hallowed with aura and the stars shine in the back ground

Yes, i used to do that when too much younger and no troubles on my mind;
Now too much responsibilities that send me daily, and fast into bed before term........i long to those white nights with moon up high to watch..alas !!
I used to write sonnets a while ago, at Starlight Cafe and Poetry soup, but, then, i had to tend towards free verse and some understood forms just to rhyme, as i was told they dont care about forms, but only substance,
You are great in this Form MNS. i salute your patience
