DeCaDeNt ArAmiS

what's in a grave
but memories
and a stave

listening, what comes first
silence or emptiness
perhaps thirst

filling the void unrehearsed
endowing you with the curse
loving you through the years

looking into Gitche Gumee eyes
of death's shallowness
beneath dark wind skies

feeling your aching body chapped
loose flesh now wings to flap
soon to don a fitting nightcap

pale lips and wilted kiss
no salvation bliss
of decadent Aramis
