Quite evocative and brilliant.  I agree with adagio - maybe haiku is your calling.  This has inspired me to give haiku a try.  Overall, very solid, conceptually considerate, and original.  It shows that you're a seasoned writer.

Hi, I actually was so intimidated to write a haiku.
Nope I wasn't going to do it. But I did.
Everyday you should do one thing you fear or have
never done before
I wrote one, now I'm addicted, lol.
I read about them before I wrote one.
I would be so excited to read a haiku by you.
It's very different to me then writing a poem.
