Image for the poem Loving Her

Loving Her

my life is in its twilight
I have lived my life
gone through all of life's delight
I  met her and found myself

there was emptiness
an isolation until her
my wife and partner
has grown cold and indifferent

I never found women enchanting
their constant demand for attention
was always so daunting
I  faced everyday pleasing

I found her fresh and kind
a gentle voice with tenderness
her touches so sublime
I found myself  entranced

a passion has been ignited
blazing like fire in my chest
I am alive renewed
each day seems fresh

I love her
does she love me too
I adore her
I breathe her every breath
