On Gratitude

 
Through the perspective of gratitude
We will be able to move about with introspection
Move about serenely
Even when facing difficult times

Redirecting our thoughts from what we lack
To what we possess
We may find comfort in these moments
Knowing that what have sometimes is overlooked
Remembering that this too shall pass

Although we can be thankful for all of our belongings
We should also comprehend that blessings come in many forms
Because sometimes they are disguised as challenges
Or that they may overshadow the happy moments

If we walk with gratitude in our lives
With a sense of profound reflection
We may be more attuned with our relationships
And the natural aura of life will glow
