Musical meanderings 1: A bad café

A café? Gee—
be fed!
Decaf, fadge, egg, beef.
Caged egg: bad.
Bagged fadge: egad!
Decaf: add caf!!
Gad. Bad feed!
Bad café.
Gagged.
Feedbag: add cabbage.
Fab!

Begged a cab;
bagged a cab.
Each cab ebbed.
Cadged a bed—
a beaded bed.
Ace!
Fee added;
cad!

Facade faced,
badge badged
gab gabbed.

Faced a bad deed:
face cabbaged!
Gaffe,
Dabbed face.

Each decade,
age faded,
ebbed,
ceded.
Fade, dada...
a babe!

Author's Note
All of these words use the letters A to G, so can be played on any instrument.
I'm aware that different countries use different note names, and that in Germany the note B is called H. I have plans to write a few more of these, using the different musical 'alphabets' - watch this space!
