Hold my hand
My hand remembers
With such a comforting warmth
How it felt to be enveloped
Your hand holding mine
I’d slip my smaller one
Against your palm
Fingers intertwining
As ivy growing together—
Meant to be
It felt more than words
Safe
Secure
Warm
Comforting
Surrounded by strength
Peaceful
It felt like a little blue wren
Snuggled up warm & safe
Against soft furs
Nestled
Nuzzled
Content
By a flickering fireplace
In a cozy cabin
As stars twinkle outside
And gentle waves wash
A serene beach
That’s how it felt
To place my hand
In yours
Be my soft red fox
I’ll be your little wren
Let’s snuggle
an odd pair
by the firelight
Again
Would you
Hold my hand
and carry me home?
With such a comforting warmth
How it felt to be enveloped
Your hand holding mine
I’d slip my smaller one
Against your palm
Fingers intertwining
As ivy growing together—
Meant to be
It felt more than words
Safe
Secure

It felt like a little blue wren
Snuggled up warm & safe
