Again…
The intensity washes as waves
Bends me as gusts of wind
Propels me…
This time it’s (again)
Images of you I vainly crave
To see once more your face
To read the subtle stories of the years that passed
(as rings beneath the bark of a tree).
I thirst to drink the secrets of your eyes
To have you deign a glance towards me
I miss the motions of your lips
Wielding magic languages their own
In this darkness still
I seek your light
Yet only blackest echoes
Reverberate this night
Again
Bends me as gusts of wind
Propels me…
This time it’s (again)
Images of you I vainly crave
To see once more your face
To read the subtle stories of the years that passed
(as rings beneath the bark of a tree).
I thirst to drink the secrets of your eyes
To have you deign a glance towards me
I miss the motions of your lips
Wielding magic languages their own
In this darkness still
I seek your light
Yet only blackest echoes
Reverberate this night
Again
