Writing About Writer’s Block

Whenever I’ve felt uninspired  
Or felt the lack of flame and fire on the top of my pen
I write about the frustration wired
Even when it feels like I’ve hit a dead-end
 
But when the vexation opens up a gate
A torrent of words feels like a flood of blood and ink
Then I think it cannot be contained  
Even if the syntax sucks and stinks
 
It puts things into perspective  
Writing about writer’s block is an oxymoron at best
When the page is filled with raw emotion  
I feel like I fulfilled a little conquest
