Image for the poem Through The Fire

Through The Fire

flying through the fire, mired in anarchy
silt in slit trifling in my garden
sitting pretty it is

soon enough tire, King of Tyre

listless dreams sift through sunlight
gathering glitter and dust
it is with much sorrow I answer

simply put, I lust
apples answering the birds of the air
sinfully delicious Georgia peach
tasting of honey and heather

my heart is open and dreaming
no one can still my happiness

I'm in the midst of the storm
cleansing rain washes my soul
so I don't feel the downfall, freefall

requesting you see me nevermore
