Sometimes I Still Wonder

I still wonder
How it would feel  
To have my dreams
Suddenly go my way
How life would be
Had you decided to stay
What it would be like
To wake up every day
In your arms
How it would feel
To be protected
From the world’s harm
The laughter you gave
Filled the hole
In my heart
I somehow managed
To survive when  
You said we had to part
The roller coaster
Has stopped
My emotions have calmed
I no longer envision
A poem  
Requesting a response  
I know you may
Not want me too
But I do  
I just miss you
