Dane's Journey Through the Unknown
Dane's journey began in the darkness,
Lost in the shadows, a place without light,
Uncertainty held him in its tight grasp,
As he searched for an escape from the night.
But then his fingers found a glimmer,
A door that offered a flicker of hope,
And with determination, he followed,
Towards a distant radiance, he'd cope.
In this unfamiliar edifice,
A lighthouse stood with grace,
Guiding ships across the ocean,
A beacon in this desolate space.
The rhythm of the sea filled his senses,
But humanity was nowhere to be found,
Isolation was his only companion,
On a solitary rock, he was bound.
He tried to flee the cold embrace of the ocean,
But it followed him with relentless chase,
Back to the safety of the lighthouse,
In despair's cruel and unforgiving face.
Surviving on raw fish,
In this forsaken place,
Dane held on to hope,
For a chance to see a friendly face.
And then a distant boat appeared,
A promise of hope's warm embrace,
But language barriers hindered,
In this foreign and unfamiliar space.
Incarcerated, he awaited his fate,
Within the confines of a cell,
But a policewoman's empathy,
Brought some comfort in this living hell.
Navigating unfamiliar customs,
In this bewildering maze,
Dane struggled to adapt,
In this foreign and alien place.
But amidst the chaos and confusion,
A cryptic message gave him a trace,
'Keep swimming,' the man's words echoed,
Towards an unknown horizon's embrace.
And so he continued on,
Through hostels and bustling streets,
Northward bound, towards a fabled land,
His journey, full of trials and defeats.
But in the unfolding of this adventure,
Solace found its resting place,
And Dane finally found his way,
Amidst the fear and unknown space.
Lost in the shadows, a place without light,
Uncertainty held him in its tight grasp,
As he searched for an escape from the night.
