Letter of Thanks to David

Dear David,

I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for your ongoing support throughout my pregnancy. Your generous financial contributions have made a significant difference and have alleviated so much of the stress that comes with preparing for the arrival of our baby.

While I understand that our relationship had unintended consequences, I am genuinely thankful for the memories we share, particularly of that fateful night. I do regret the strain it placed on your marriage, and I hope that with time, wounds will heal.

On a brighter note, I am incredibly thankful to have Joseph in my life now. His unwavering support and love have been a source of immense comfort to me, especially during these challenging times. I'm grateful that both you and Joseph have been able to find common ground and support each other, setting aside any feelings of jealousy or animosity.

I would like to extend an invitation to you to join us for a baby shower I'm hosting on Thursday, April 4th, one month before my due date. It would mean a lot to me if you could drop by and meet some of my coworkers, who are eager to celebrate this joyous occasion with me. It's a great opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the new life that will soon be entering the world. I’ll understand if you can’t stay long because the girly jokes at these events can be a little risqué at times.

Once again, thank you for your continued support and generosity. I truly appreciate everything you've done.

Warm regards,

Lauryn

Author's Note
I'm so thankful that my child will be surrounded by love and encouragement despite the circumstances surrounding her conception. I wanted to share this note to David, the father of my child. He hasn't seen me in several weeks so I played around with exposure on the photo I sent to David so his eyes would be drawn to the growing baby.
