I Fell
Sleepless nights with the clock ticking by
I’ve been grounded for so long with no access to the sky
It seemed rather destined that I had met you
Seeds planted long ago had finally emerged to bloom.
I fell. I fell so hard
Nothing could have stopped this
You’ve managed to lower my guard
My heart yearns for your touch and your kiss.
You’ve reignited my slumbering passion
In marvelous ways that I could never have imagined
You have a way of speaking directly to my soul
Your love had seeped through to fill in the black hole.
I fell. I fell so hard
Nothing could have stopped this
You’ve managed to lower my guard
My heart yearns for your touch and your kiss.
My darling, what are you doing to me?
This feeling is foreign yet welcomed
Let’s sit under the shade of our special tree
That we planted together; our souls are connected.
I fell. I fell so hard. For you.
I’ve been grounded for so long with no access to the sky
It seemed rather destined that I had met you
Seeds planted long ago had finally emerged to bloom.
I fell. I fell so hard
Nothing could have stopped this
You’ve managed to lower my guard
My heart yearns for your touch and your kiss.
You’ve reignited my slumbering passion
In marvelous ways that I could never have imagined
You have a way of speaking directly to my soul
Your love had seeped through to fill in the black hole.
I fell. I fell so hard
Nothing could have stopped this
You’ve managed to lower my guard
My heart yearns for your touch and your kiss.
My darling, what are you doing to me?
This feeling is foreign yet welcomed
Let’s sit under the shade of our special tree
That we planted together; our souls are connected.
I fell. I fell so hard. For you.
