Hell's Symphony
Inside intrinsic melodies
that twist my eardrums
like honey bees
calling me
calling me
down
calling me
down
as I spiral
out of control
my universe unfolds
into a beautiful
Nightmare....
that everyone should behold
I am not afraid
I cant wait to see
what the underworld
has in store for me
Magnificent symphony
as tortured soul's
Voices swell
They were splintered
and injured mentaly
as there demons
welcome them to hell...
and I...
Laugh out loud
and howl at the moon
as I dissapear in a funnel cloud
I drain the air out of the room
Then I take my pinky finger
and rip a hole in the sky
For I have been given wings
By the Underworld King...
and Im the only one
Who
Can
Fly
SO
follow me
follow me
down
into the spiral
tell all your
friends to come
lets make it viral
no... lets make it vital
and primal
and final....
Mysterious Melody
as I conduct this

I can hear the concerto, the melodiousness rhapsody being executed with perfection by The Hell Philharmonic Orchestra. I have taken the Highway to it, listened to its Bells, heard that it's Not a Bad Place to Be and debated the difference between Heaven and itself but, at no time, have I ever thought about it in such clear, unequivocal image A sky ripped open with a pinky - such imagery commands respect. My hat, as they say in soggy England, is doffed to you. Remarkable writting my dearest Firebyrd, quite remarkable!!

Being so obsessed with music like I am, I can't help but wonder if Robert Johnson is around somewhere dealing with the pact he made of his soul to play the blues. Legend has it that Clapton wanted to make a deal as well, but he was so out of it, nothing he wrote or said could be verified! (before he cleaned up)

The Devil has all the best tunes and, God knows, I love to dance to them but I don't think that means we owe him homage.
I note your first comment anxious to distance yourself a little from the core thrust of this one and I'm glad about that. What we write about ourselves has very concrete effects on how we feel about ourselves and ultimately how we behave.
Now, I'm an atheist and I'd be horrified to be associated with anything like bible thumping - but I can't be comfortable with this, K. As a piece of writing, as usual with you, it's tops. As a statement of sentiment - it's a very dangerous piece indeed. The brighter the soul burns, the more desirable it is to the Devil. That makes you a high risk individual. I'd like to see you scrap this one, if only to humour your daft ol' Uncle Red. Hugs. Me

I havent sold my soul or anuthing like that LOL
I am going to keep it posted though because
It marks something of poetical value for me.

This is an excellent piece my dearest Firebyrd, and I don't think that anyone should be advising you as to its removal. As a so-called athiest, please note, not even agnostic, is then giving you advice about a devil(that he claims definitivly not to believe in.) As for paying 'him' homage - who is the him supposed to be? Again, someone that is claimed, by non-belief, as imagery. I don't ever re-comment, I have the belief that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I do wish that if people want to leave a negitive and, beyond that, ask that a work be removed, they can provide validation for it This innane, ignorant comment has made my blood boil. Shame on you redTbird, for even sugesting that a very gifted individual should remove a write. Shame!

Keep writing like this, passion from your soul, and your tallent will be the item to burn brightest.
