Eat the Bagel
It was a fulfilling
and tiring morning
I had just left
the local gym
This poem is almost
pointless to read
But stick around and
maybe you'll understand
So I fell fast asleep
and visions arrived
A man in robes
looking so serious
"Please get up now,"
He says calmly
And looking up quickly
I see something
In his left hand
A single bagel
"Go eat one now,"
he says plainly
"Okay," I mumble quietly
rising from bed
I'm not hungry though
He seemed serious
Walking to the kitchen
grabbing the bagel
I do as told
And eat it.
