Swagger

artifice and deceit, so discreet
hidden behind a handsome smile
cheers supposedly from the heart
he views  everything with a sparkle

playing the game with cunning tricks
walking on the streets with a swagger
his words flow like graceful silk
although at times they sound shallow

a pretentious smile on his face
speaking about all the books
that he has never read
movies and philosophy only heard

he doesn't  have a genuine heart
he doesn't  know how to be honest
he only wants to be the good guy
even though he has to lie
