That Loud Trumpet Sound (Snoring)

I will briefly elaborate on this medical related issue in detail, with much regard for a conversation on my Blog Live comments, which lead to a heated discussion about the throes of snoring, and is it unfair for the person who snores, significant other must adjust their lifestyle to adapt on behalf of love, a sense of commitment, or the two of you are not sure which direction to progress forward.      
       
My blog addressed the seriousness of snoring, and if there is any help to the person who must endure that hollowed bedroom saluting throughout the night.      
       
I will softy bow to anyone who must lay in awaited slumber, only to be awoken by a disruptive breathing pattern of someone who shares your breathing space.      
       
Snoring is medically defined as a type of the hoarse or some would say it a harsh sound that occurs when the air flow of a person who suffers from these undisturbed tissues in that person’s throat, causes the tissues to vibrate as you breathe.      
       
That is the only sound the body emits, we will never hear of ourselves, however, if you are a snorer those endeared to us, must endure.      
 
Do not fear there are breakthrough methods to control a person who snores.  
    
In addition, for those citizens of society, and who are chronic snores it may indicate an underlying serious health condition, which in my best estimate would need to be furthered evaluated by a healthcare profession.    
   
There are many contributing factors that contribute to a person who snores.      
       
When we have the common cold and you are in your recovering stages, you are well beyond consuming the bowl of your hot preferable soup, make sure you must keep your temples hydrated.    
 
Subsequently, accompanying those cold symptoms could be nasal congestion symptoms; it makes it difficult to inhale through our nostrils, resulting, for some who must unfortunately sleep with their mouth slightly open, and if your neck is not positioned correctly, you may or may not experience an episode of snoring.      
       
Snoring Can Be Contributed To Several Deviations      
       
It is not wise in my opinion to consume any alcoholic drink close to bedtime, if you are overweight it does hinder those restricted respiratory airways.      
       
When you go through the phases of sleep for light sleep to REM (Rapid Eye Movement-That is your subconscious, during your deep sleep, the muscles in the roof of your mouth (soft palate), tongue, and throat tend to relax.        
       
The Phases Of Sleep (Non-Rapid Eye Movement/Rapid Eye Movement).      
       
NREM Stage 1This is the initial transition from wakefulness to sleep. It’s a very light sleep stage, typically lasting a few minutes. During N1, muscle activity decreases, and eye movements are slow.      
NREM Stage 2 In this slightly deeper sleep stage, heart rate decreases, and body temperature drops. N2 makes up a significant portion of a full night’s sleep.      
NREM Stage 3 (also known as deep sleep): This stage is crucial for physical restoration, growth, immune function, and energy replenishment. It’s more challenging to wake someone during deep sleep.      
REM (Rapid Eye Movement) Sleep: Associated with dreaming, REM sleep involves rapid eye movements, increased brain activity, and temporary paralysis of voluntary muscles to prevent acting out dreams. (Cited for the accuracy 02-17-24)      
       
There is one medical condition I would like you to take notice of, that derives from many who suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Not everyone who snores have OSA or will develop it later on in life, if you have any of the reported symptoms, then I will suggest seeing Specialist.      
       
Another specialist you can always seek for a consultation and can also diagnose medical elements is an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT).
    
Therefore, that may be an excellent start to discuss all options with your primary physician to see what is best suited for you to bring you some release, and a great prognosis in the end.      
       
Here Are Some Symptoms You May Want Tō Keep A Close On     
       
Restless sleep      
Gasping or choking at night      
High blood pressure      
Chest pain at night      
Loud snoring that disrupts your partner’s sleep      
Witnessed breathing pauses during sleep      
Excessive daytime sleepiness      
       
If you are experience any of those symptoms, you snore, and your sleep pattern is become increasing disruptive; being jarred out of your sleep, then it is best you discuss with your Physician /Nurse Practitioner to give you a referral to have a sleep study done.        
       
Sleep Study      
       
A sleep study, also known as polysomnography, is a diagnostic test used to evaluate and diagnose various sleep disorders.  
      
The Polysomnography records the following during your sleep. It is looking for abnormalities to the brain waves, a rise or dip in the oxygen level in your blood, heart rate, if there are any breathing problems, which may obstruct your airway.      
       
Polysomnography also measures the movements of your eyes to make sure it is in sequence and in conjunction with No-Rapid Eye Movement, Rapid Eye Movement and surprisingly any type of leg movements.   
       
Make sure you follow up I can only assume you will discuss your Sleep Study. If your results are abnormal, it may benefit you wearing a CPAP.      
       
Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP).        
     
A CPAP machine is a breathing therapy device used primarily for sleep apnea and other breathing conditions that may obstruct.    
    
If you wear a CPAP then you can reap the benefits of this beautiful medical invention. A CPAP machine delivers constant delivers air pressure through a mask worn over the nose and/or mouth during sleep. This is a life savior for the one who has been diagnosed with Apnea, the CPAP is usually a very long-term preventable measure from the airway collapsing.
