Miracles

I made it to work by nine
actually enjoyed my day
with interesting conversations
and no one cursed my name

I remembered everything
on the grocery list I left at home
and someone left me flowers
just to say hello

Cat , just 'cat'
didn't put a run in my nylons
dinner was really simple
and tasted divine

Rose petals were in the bath
candles burning all around
sex was passionate, soft and gentle
and sensual as can be

Miracles happen
in the most unexpected ways
at least that's what I've been told
so there's always hope for tomorrow
