One Voice

Reaching across this void
On the other side of a reality
Fractures in our perspectives
Brokenness from different points of view
Learning to see eye to eye
In this world of sight that is our blindness

The fight of faith is trained in these trials
As we sojourn on in this world of pain and prolonged miles
Mountains protrude and boast of their glory
But this is just the beginning of your recovery story

What the enemy intends for evil, God will turn to a testimony of truth
He is not the author of the affliction but a brace for a brittle bone
As we stand by you to see the renewal of youth
A reminder that you are never alone

Who might’ve thought just a couple years in the making
From strangers to friends to family bonds
When one of us suffers all our hearts are breaking
Still we fight through the struggle as we soldier on

Militant in the face of weakness
Our prayers lay claim to the hope of what’s to come
Our voices a choir of petitions at heavens door
We won’t relent or give up till the battle is won
Just one day at a time, every victory inspires us just a little bit more

When faith works by love surely we’ve more than enough
To holdfast the promise of the children’s bread
As we become a tangible comfort when life gets tough
Our truest friends echo the words of what the Father said

By His stripes we were healed
As love predates the afflictions we face
Our spirits with His are eternally sealed
By the blood shed of His unfailing grace

Together we suffer, together we rejoice
Together we weep, we laugh, and we lift up our voice
Learning the languages of His love as we say
We stand by you through it all, night and day
Our hearts in intercessions harmony in the reassurance that everything will be okay
Your battle is my battle, and with all of our love we fight - Team Renee
