Memories Peeking Inside - with Adagio

 
Cracking the window of my mind
with memories peeking inside  
romanced by the radio  
listening to songs sung to me  
in a slow dance with a shadow  
and a clock in the moonlight  
captured by the buttons    
of widdershins and pajamas
 
shadows of ghosts
up close dancing in tandem
to the music of yesteryears
dust disturbed on an old desk
where conversations were shared
the grime on the planks
patterned by fallen tears
whispered kisses then silence reign
