tumbling through the eternities
I remember the centuries of you and I so fondly
I've encountered you here from time to time
it's always the same answer
I am not yet ready to be a companion in the immortal

I will to be with you
it hurts to be rejected so close at this juncture
entertaining thoughts of darkness
so morose in the feeling
I languish without you in this new world
I am of the old ways

time spans and we are together
then wrinkles and goes away with my memories of you
now you are here with your entourage
I see you, my Lord
I am utterly besotten
coveting our moments as one

I press my memories to my soul
I will keep hope
bitter regret was the loss of you
shadows loom and I know
you're thinking of departing
please, take me from this place of suffering

let us go to the outer reaches
better to burn for a moment
then in the eternal
void of each other
