Oizus Serenades

Shadows tread in my depths of darkness
I lay supine on covers of Soul’s spread
where the patterns are laced with tears
embroidery sewn with repentant threads

a silent storm rages within grief’s grip
its tendrils reach deep with a story untold
kept within the thoughts no apologies
a battle rage within between thoughts

Oizus strums a long winding story
nooks of pain crannies of sorrow
she sings about it all without apology
presses lime on heart’s furrow

It lends a new meaning
"to strumming my pain with his fingers"
