Philosophical Tides - with Adagio

 
Of shallows in the deep end of my heart
under the winds of philosophical tides
that draws the emptiness close
fingers of memories trace your shadow
with the tears falling from my eyes  
listening to the depths of your love
sewn to my soul

Depths of love embraced vulnerability
all encased in trust and understanding
into the deepness of the soul’s abyss
translated in light of passion
from the deep dark brown eyes
giving all the strength of its sublime root
and then fall like confetti on barren ground
