Monogamy

Monogamy

Sitting in the club that night, I didn't know my view on monogamy would change for all time, I saw her at a distance my god she looked devine

I just wanted her from that moment I moved to get a better view, normally girls can come and go it's true there's been a few

She glided across the dance floor men falling at her feet, her throwing smiles their way, she gave them out like treats

Then we locked on eye to eye, she walked to where I sat, she said she'd seen me staring and what have I got to say about that

I took a large gulp of air then I sipped a long draft of beer, I looked her right in the eye and said I hadn't seen you here

Do you like what you see, I saw you watching why didn't you come and dance, I said you were surrounded by so many guys, I didn't think I stood a chance

She simply took me by the hand, together we danced the night away, from that moment we were together forever she did stay

Never again would I play the field, I was from now on a one woman man, I love being just hers, I'm now a monogamy loving fan
