Interesting take on how sadism and masochism can bleed over into daily life iand how the loyalty remains. I like the closing lines.

Phenomenal use of subtle color in the painting. That's maximizing the power of minimalism.

You got every bit of what I was trying to convey Pink.  BDSM is complicated but necessary for those with commonality. It's hard sometimes to describe what you want from someone, but if there's trust it's good to just jump in the pool and see if you sink or swim. Life rafts at the ready..

I chose a painting with an aura of bondage, Grey has such a way.  50 shades not needed, a few intrinsic layers will do.

I've been fortunate to have great inspiration from this woman.  We push and pull and often go forward until we Apex again.  As the painting is a non-objective abstraction so is this relationship..

I am in love with the painting. You layer really well, and the more the eye turns this around, the more we see that there is so much more to this than surface level, and I LOVE that you paired that subtlety with an overt poem. You took something like BDSM and layered it like a parfait when expressed concurrently. There is more than the eye sees. The feelings are tempered by the restraints, and the restraints are tempered by a profound sense of belonging.

Yes, this is one of my favorite paintings.
I'm gratified by your positive response.  Almost all the comments mentioned  the painting in a super luxurious way for a dark moody offering.  I love the color Grey and paint with it often.  Wear it a lot too juxtaposed against black. It's an amazing contrast....

BDSM is so personal and loving with the right partner.  Others who can't understand it, I really feel sorry for them.  As in the painting it's so much about layering ....
