The Elsewhere Fairy

Rustic oranges, reds yellows, and greens
Her wings were of a beautiful sheen
Topaz eyes, and verdigris hair
Wild imaginings, of a place elsewhere

Flowing brooks, of a bubbling blue
Rich deep crimson skies, of a softening hue
The setting sun, turns a tempting turtle titian
As the elsewhere fairy, has violet velvet visions

Her soft wings, glide upon a gentle zephyr
As she travels from elsewhere, to somewhere afar
Her arms spread wide, As she swoops deep down
And enters another world, deep underground

Where all the flowers, are a beautiful azure blue
All garnished with splashes, of a purple laced dew
As birds sing along, to an aeolian song
The elsewhere fairy, flies down to the throng

She sips sweet nectar, from a goblet of gold
And reminisces, on things once foretold
In legends, and folklore, And mystical myths
Where dragons once rose, from within the abyss

She closes her wings, to rest for a while
As dreams of her memories, produce a sweet smile
She awakens to a soft autumnal like glow
Then returns to elsewhere, as she has nowhere to go
