Bone bird
rattles abundant feathers
we writhe
through red crested trail
of belonging
The singing of night birds...
Precious stones
glacier glow
forming musing music
caskets crescent
in the lap of dawn!
Dusky magenta glows
of beauty, beheld
chestnut chest
rare, innocent and vain.
oracular branches
bleeding entwined
What to love about birds
is not the ability to
fly, but...
the capacity they have
to land.
