He's the Sun
He’s the sun
Our source of warmth and light
Can’t you sense how important his presence is?
It’s worth giving up my life.
Just as he died for us
To take in all our earthly sins
If only we could see the big picture
And focus on bettering what’s within.
I’ve loved and lost
I’ve cursed and cried
One moment I’ve hit rock bottom
The next I’m flying on cloud nine.
He’s within each of us
For we’re all his sacred temple
Can’t you feel that blooming warmth?
A soothing caress forever gentle.
He’s the sun
Our source of warmth and light
I feel a deep connection
With the son who shines so bright.
I’ve failed and learned
I’ve often questioned my faith
Yet that blooming warmth still burns strong
Leaving me rejuvenated and so safe.
Our source of warmth and light
Can’t you sense how important his presence is?
It’s worth giving up my life.
