Seeta Devi
Look at all that she has done for her man,
or at least for the prying camera eye
scrutinizing the bare arm on her thigh
in mid odalisque panopticon scan
of beads forehead strung and breast bead cascade
posh propped on a body pillow, well silked,
where lovers might have had their phallus milked
by jeweled fingers and full lips arrayed.
Surely a test for the old silver screen;
all fancies of sex in one image shown
suggesting boners exotically blown
on a maiden's face for new jism sheen...
or mixed with sweat in subcontinent heat
on the henna seen enhancing her feet.
or at least for the prying camera eye
scrutinizing the bare arm on her thigh
in mid odalisque panopticon scan
of beads forehead strung and breast bead cascade
posh propped on a body pillow, well silked,
where lovers might have had their phallus milked
by jeweled fingers and full lips arrayed.
Surely a test for the old silver screen;
all fancies of sex in one image shown
suggesting boners exotically blown
on a maiden's face for new jism sheen...
or mixed with sweat in subcontinent heat
on the henna seen enhancing her feet.

It's a special kind of poet who can combine odalisque panopticon and boners exotically blown. You have a wonderfully unique style.

Re: Re. Seeta Devi
Well it's a special kind of reader who's savvy enough to appreciate that:)
I think it may have been Aristotle who said something about the artist mimicking nature, which I think is most fairly done when representing the high and the low, or the snobs and the slobs, as it were, and it's none other than nature herself who keeps re-editing DNA so as to keep life as fresh as possible in a death and cliché friendly universe.
Comparing poetry to mother nature may be a bit much, but metaphor seems the like double helix of language to me.
Anyways, It sure is lovely whenever a compliment shows up!
I hope your Christmas went very well and that the new year will favor you mightily:)

I'm not too warm for tats, but those henna ladies sure get a second look from me:)
I must read up on that.

Poem well inspired by this picture of Eastern seductiveness. Favourite lines (for suggestiveness hinting at Indian origins):
Surely a test for the old silver screen;
all fancies of sex in one image shown
suggesting boners exotically blown
on a maiden's face for new jism sheen...
or mixed with sweat in subcontinent heat
on the henna seen enhancing her feet.

Thanks also for entering this one to the comp! Love the rhymes, love the topic! But different to the erotic poems people usually post on here, I like it a lot 😍✨
