Omnipresent?

Astral projection
Doppel gangers
Or perhaps i leapt through a worm hole
Or a portal
Or abducted by aliens
Whoever said i was at 1200 Postcards
For last Thursdays open mic
Sadly got it wrong
Sadly
As i would of loved to of been there
Unless i had been hypnotised
Or disguised as a cheese plant
(there are cheese plants there
and have oft wondered
whether they were cheese plants
or camouflaged customers!)
Or i was disguised as a bench
It must of been cunning, and sublime
As no poets were aware of my presence
Nor the owner
Maybe i'm omnipresent
Suggestions on a postcard....

Maybe i should write a poem about this
Maybe i have latent super human/huwoman powers
Or perhaps of a changeling birth
So many possibilities
But the only one i have
Is the memory of being at home
And wishing i was there
Although anything is possible
As last Saturday
I was at a Ball
At a Masonic Hall
Where i saw Elvis talking to Santa
Us ethereal types
Do move in mysterious ways.......
