shadows shrink away into the violence  
chaotic chatter take notice  
a spellbinding desire is riding the waves  
disturbing the aether  
don't come back to me empty  
 
stroking midnight's chalice  
I drink in the moment  
I feel your movement in the noise  
dialing it down I send lust to let you know it's important  
 
revealing a heady brew full of need  
taking a chance your listening  
I prowl the nightime  
amusing your greed  
your ego beguiling it's your intellect I regret  
perhaps you are too smart for me  
 
moving with stealth I uncover your dwelling place  
the flesh you are devouring is begging  
I continue to enjoy the view  
as the dark pours into you  
 
picking up the object of torture  
you inflict terror  
I call you from your reverie  
your want hardens

I slip out riding the night air
