Waiting for Clarity
Time will lift the eyes
above the clouds.
Vapors glaze over the lenses.
Blink, and crystals set in the corner of the lids.
It's hard to see through the clouds
what your sun will look like.
If you decide to grab a sun from behind the visor of the clouds,
you might catch a satellite
and be tossed on a circular flight in low orbit
'round, 'round the place to which you had fallen before.
But enough of earth and the feelings you felt.
You've made it far as the clouds.
Time will lift the eyes above the clouds,
sweep the vapor, break the crystal.
