One Last Kiss

 
What a perfect night to bid you farewell
Heavy with mysteries full moon hangs low
Nightingale sings a sweet serenade
Seal my lips with a kiss that echoes in eternity

Hush my love and don't you weep
My body dies but my soul is set free
So paint the coffin in my favorite colors
Promise me to live a happy purposeful life

When in another starry night
Crickets chirp a haunting melody
And a soft breeze caresses your face
Then know that this is me

Whenever you  think of me
I won't be far away
Until we finally meet again
I will watch over you from above
