Potentiation
The busybody auction blockhead boys
chomp at the bit to denigrate the meek
with foreseen labels like "loser" or "freak"
as peace is what whore purpose destroys;
a cold ambition, so gravely misled,
but to instigators most addicting
when by its coercion soon predicting
who's left behind and who will get ahead...
ahead of all except the greater good,
whose teamwork would have else wise provided
the most to make of any neighborhood
where wit and effort are coincided
with surplus stacked like seasoned cords of wood...
for houses standing...wholly undivided.

Contrast and comparison, metaphor, correlation, and analogy; these are how we all really think as they are the poet's version of the mathematician's equal sign, and we use both cerebral tools when we go shopping, or at least we should.

Another fantastic read....
(As naive as I may be, I continue to hold out some semblance of hope that there are potentially more folks that make up the majority of the country who do wish for unobstructed progress for the greater good and it's just the death throes of a bygone minority that get the most coverage because the realization of trying like hell to hold onto an outdated and deplorable belief/narrative fills them with nothing but fear....just my early morning thoughts... Again, thanks for sending out your thoughts into the world.
