...are you who you are
listening with fear
like a lonely moth
between eye and ear
and dark dichotomy
fighting rejection
to be but a shadow
on a flight of stairs
falling down the well

Deep and dark. For me there is also a hint of sorrow. Removing those things from within that may hurt us but will be sorely missed.
