Have You No Shame

In TV’s glow, embarrassment embraced,
as news unveiled a world, so darkly traced.
Aghast, we witness humans hurt their kin,
a tale of pain, where callousness begins.

Desecrating bodies, spreading hate,
this modern shame, our shared, destructive fate.
Within this shame, a calling of concern,
to heal, to care, where empathy shall burn.

In healing rooms, where comfort is the prize,
we’re seeking truths with compassionate eyes.
To grasp the essence, care beyond the art,
in healing others, mend each fractured part.

Inside us lies the power to redeem,
to mend the heart, the world, the broken dream.
Yet some, unswayed, on darker pathways tread,
no shame within, a troubled path they thread.
