Near Death At Birth,The Birth Of Death, And My Final Breath
Daylight
Is now filtering
Through my blinds
As dark light
Slowly drifts in
As another day of doubt
Awaits me in silence
I cannot detach myself
From this voyage
Of the damned
The self destruct button
Pressed, perhaps
One time to many
I know my destiny
But wish
For a slower route
Yet have always known
That my life
Would likely end
In some tragic way
My umbilical cord
That twice strangled me at birth
Will somehow return
To finish the job
